Fifty Nifty United States

In 2020-2021 I worked with eight wonderful students as a Virtual Learning Supervisor. While reading one of our favorite books The Scrambled States of America, a child asked "do you think we could memorize all the states?".

I paused for a moment and said "I don't see why not!". 

Then we began our Fifty Nifty United States Project, researching and creating a coloring book. I used the application Procreate to draw each page. Each page has the state's name, capital, flag, and other various state symbols. We even included a page for Washington D.C.! This project helped the students learn how to research facts and helped them memorize the states in a colorful way.

I am very proud of my students and the creation we created together.
