I am from the golden state of California, specifically the seaside city of Long Beach. I completed my undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Studies at California State University Long Beach. I am currently a graduate student at New York University, earning my Master's degree in Learning Technology and Experience Design with a concentration in Games for Learning. In my free time, I volunteer with Troop 6000, an organization within the Girl Scouts of Greater New York that brings Girl Scouting to young girls experiencing homelessness.
In all areas of my work, whether in professional, academic, or volunteer work, I am passionate about creating inclusive environments that promote learning and growth for all.

Program Aide Director at Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles
May 2018 to August 2019
I worked at Girl Scout’s summer El Ranchito Day Camp in an administrative position. I created and ran the programming for volunteers ages 13 to 17. I taught them valuable leadership skills and how to work with campers ages 4 to 12. I facilitated projects and workshops to help the volunteers create new and exciting activities at camp. This position required me to be creative and well-organized to create programming that provided a learning environment, as well a safe place to have fun.
